Empowering Lives, Restoring Hope
Founded in 2018, Global Refugee Aid (GRA) is a UK-registered charity driven by the passion of East African diaspora doctors and psychotherapists. Our mission is to transform the lives of refugees in Uganda’s Nakivale refugee camp, especially vulnerable women, girls, and individuals living with albinism. We provide trauma counseling, livelihood training, and entrepreneurship skills to empower refugees to rebuild their futures. By fostering support groups to end discrimination and distributing vital health resources, GRA brings dignity, hope, and opportunity to those fleeing civil war and armed conflict in Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
